humans...
these are your every day people. some of them know about vampires, but most do not. they work or go to school, just trying to live their lives.
doppelgangers...
these are people who are classified as supernatural creatures because they look like someone else, usually from the same bloodline.
witches...
witches are a subcategory of humans who are known to have power, usually drawing from the elements. they can create spells and are usually either into dark magic or light magic, though few will use both. they can also draw energy from spirits. witches will not remain witches if turned into a vampire.
vampires...
vampires are supernatural creatures, usually limited to the night. the sun will burn them, though there are a few who have rings spelled by a witch to let them walk in the daylight. the top part of their face changes when their fangs descend. to become a vampire, a person has to die with vampire blood in their system.
strengths:speed, healing, their blood will heal a human, strength, agility, emotional switch, dream manipulation, mind compulsion, immortality, possibility of sire bond
weaknesses:decapitation, fire, sunlight, wooden stakes, vervain, heart extraction, must have an invitation to enter a mortal's home, werewolf bite, desiccation
werewolves...
people with werewolf blood will remain human until they are responsible for someone else's death.
strengths: healing, speed, agility, strength, bite will kill a vampire
weaknesses:wolfsbane, anger, can only change/has to change during full moon, ripping out heart will kill them,
original vampire...
the original vampires are the first vampires. they can only be truly killed by a white oak stake, but a dagger dipped in the ash of a white oak will make them seem dead while it is still in the heart. sun does not affect them. if an original vampire truly dies all vampires from his/her bloodline will also die.
ghosts...
people who have died are ghosts or spirits. only certain people can see them, usually those who have died and been brought back to life.
