Personality:
Vicki's personality is greatly affected by her childhood. Her father abandoning her and she having to raise her brother by herself made the girl grow up too fast making her lose the most important part of her life. Vicki is loving and over protective of her brother, whom she truly loves. Matt is the most important person of her life and though they sometimes banter about silly things, they are family. She is strong minded and has an emotional wall built up around her,because she is afraid to get hurt again. She compensates it by showing her fun loving side, her party animal and born-to-be wild side. Though the real Vicki is not like that at all, she tries to hide it as good as she can.

History:
Victoria Donovan was born and raised in Mystic Falls. She was the firstborn daughter to Kelly Donovan; an elder sister to Matthew aka. Matt. Her and her brothers childhood was particularly normal, if not to mention the constant quarrels of their parents. When Vicki was about six years old, her parents got a divorce and her father soon left the picture. It was then when her mother started hanging out with different men, leaving her children at home with a babysitter. That made Vicki hate her mother, that she chose men over her own children. But it was after her mother had sustained a relationship, when she bailed completely, leaving the youngsters on their own. Vicki was then only sixteen years old, her brother fourteen. Then she realized that to survive, she had to grow up and fast.
But life wasn't as easy as Vicki thought. Sure the girl could sustain a job and her mother who was enjoying herself sent them money to keep up the household, the girl still felt like everything was falling apart. Her grades were falling and she didn't see the point of going back to school. It was then when she was introduced to drugs. The substances that took away the stress and made her feel like she was on top of the world. Because of her personal issues and overall personality, Vicki got caught up in the whole substance abuse and soon was known to everyone as the stoner. Because of her friends she met Jeremy Gilbert, who after his parents death, wanted some away time from the world. At first Vicki thought that Jeremy was just another guy who wanter her for the looks and went back to her boyfriend Tyler who used her just for sex.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
The sunbeams shimmered through the curtain and lit up the room as the sun rose over the horizon. Still laying in her medium sized bed, Vicki pulled her blanket over her head while still being half asleep. Yesterday night had been difficult, her mother returned  with her so-called boyfriend Pete. Vicki never quite understood what she found in him, because Pete was a sleaze bag and a complete douche. And after her mother and her had their usual fight, Vicki bailed and went on her usual rampage. This was usually the consequence. A noise downstairs woke the brunette, making her groan. Everyday when she woke up she had a hangover or worse - a craving for something more addictive. Today was a good day. The girl crawled out of bed and made her way downstairs, to see what was all the fuss about.
Arriving to her living room, Vicki spotted her brother, Matt. Making her way to him, she noticed that the rest of the house was unusually quiet. Because she was so used to it by now she didn't even realize that something was wrong, she addressed her brother casually, not taking his mood in granted. "Hey Mattie.." she said and climbed up on a high chair. She grabbed an apple and took a bite out of it. Noticing that her brother wasn't as talkative as usually, she scowled at him, "What.. What is it now, huh?" she felt anger boiling inside her. Knowing that Matt always took her side when it came to her and their mother, but this time something was different. "Is this about mom? Are you seriously pinning her inability to stay on me.." she stared at her brother, who wasn't even saying anything. "What is it Matt!" she practically yelled and then her sweet and blue eyed brother gave her the answer she wished. Elena dumped him. Taking in the answer, Vicki couldn't believe what she had just heard. After a few seconds, she responded, "If she left you, then she is not worth any of your time. Suck it up, be a man and find someone else" she told him with a smile, then jumped off the chair and hugged her brother.
